Weekly Reading Story Information Nov. 28th -Dec. 2nd

This week we will be reading " A Bed for Winter" by Karen Wallace.  In this story the children will hear and learn about a dormouse looking for a bed suitable for winter.  She visits various other animal friends and tries their homes out to see if they would make a suitable home for the winter that is warm and protects her from the elements. She visits a meadow, hive, stump, cave, den, burrow, and finally a tree trunk that she decides is just perfect for her home. The students will compare and contrast various animal homes while helping her decide which home is best for her along her journey.
